Michelle Fridman, LISW-S, LICDC

Mrs. Fridman is a licensed independent social worker with supervisor designation. Her counseling style is empathetic, integrative, pragmatic, and person-centered. “I believe that a therapeutic relationship should be a collaborative one in which you and I work together to discover creative strategies, solutions and, at times, even humorous insights, to help you practice new ways too thrive”. Mrs. Fridman’s previous clients have described her as “warm” and “genuine”. She has experience counseling adults, families, and teenagers coping with grief, trauma, chronic health issues, addition, existential concerns, sexuality, and recovery – “I look forward to exploring these area and more with you”. Mrs. Fridman’s work draws its influence from the counseling theories and styles of Carl Rogers, Viktor Frankl, Francine Shapiro, and Marsha Linehan.


Mrs. Fridman graduated from Columbus State Community College with her Associate of Applied Science in 2007. She graduated from Capital University with a Bachelor’s in Social Work in 2010 and from Case Western Reserve University with an MSSA in 2013, with dual focus in Social Work and Additions.


In addition, Mrs. Fridman is a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor and is certified in Mindfulness. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, meditating, practicing yoga, reading philosophy, painting, and enjoying nature photography.
